Join us for Scholar Day at Central College in Pella, Iowa — an exclusive event for admitted students ready to take the next step in their college journey. Choose from a morning or afternoon session and immerse yourself in a dynamic experience designed to give you an authentic look at Central’s academic excellence and close-knit community.

Scholar Day offers the chance to compete for additional scholarship awards ranging from $500 to $2,000, up to full tuition on top of those awarded at admission.


Here's what you can expect during your session:

 

• Connect with Central faculty and explore your intended major in a focused, one-on-one setting.

 

• Engage in an academic discussion centered around Central’s core teaching philosophies — relationships, reflection, and responsibility — which shape a curriculum rooted in critical thinking and civic engagement.

 

• Take part in a personal conversation with a faculty member, where you’ll have the chance to share your passions, discuss your academic goals and stand out as a future leader in the Central community. 

 

• Hear from a panel of current students who will share their real-life experiences and offer an inside look at what it’s like to live and learn at Central.

 

Parents are encouraged to attend. This event is exclusively offered to admitted students.
