Join us for Scholar Day at Central College in Pella, Iowa — an exclusive event for admitted students ready to take the next step in their college journey. Choose from a morning or afternoon session and immerse yourself in a dynamic experience designed to give you an authentic look at Central's academic excellence and close-knit community.
Scholar Day offers the chance to compete for additional scholarship awards ranging from $500 to $2,000, up to full tuition on top of those awarded at admission.
Here's what you can expect during your Scholar Day session:
- Connect with Central faculty and explore your intended major in a focused, one-on-one setting.
- Take part in a personal conversation with a faculty member, where you’ll have the chance to share your passions, discuss your academic goals and stand out as a future leader in the Central community.
- Hear from a panel of current students who will share their real-life experiences and offer an inside look at what it's like to live and learn at Central.
Parents are encouraged to attend. While students participate in their Scholar Day activities, parents will have their own opportunity to learn more about the Central experience and connect with members of our campus community.

Unable to attend one of our Scholar Day events? You can still register for an Individual Scholar Day to participate on-campus or virtually! This opportunity allows admitted students to still qualify for additional scholarships beyond what is awarded upon admission to Central.
